Kyobo Life Insurance
Kyobo Life Insurance, one of the 3 largest Korean companies in the life insurance industry, has been an avid supporter and major contributor for the growth of impact startups. Since 2018, Kyobo has continuously organized seminars and events such as Demo Day for startups in the field of impact, as part of their CSR program. During the past 5 years, over 400 social impact businesses have been discovered, of which over 25 have been incubated by Honghap Valley Foundation and supported for subsequent investments. In 2023, VSV Capital proudly presents this opportunity to impact startups in Vietnam as the project’s local partner.
Honghap Valley Foundation
Honghap Valley Foundation is an accelerator certified by the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups, focusing on supporting social impact startups. It has worked with Kyobo on the Impact-Up project since 2018 and excellently execute the program in Korea. The firm is also a long-time partner of VSV and has helped exposed our portfolio companies to the Korean startup community and investors by co-organising Demo Days in Korea.
VSV Capital
Founded in 2013, VSV Capital is the most active VC in Vietnam’s startups (Tech in Asia, 2021). Over the past 10 years, VSV has accelerated more than 200 startups globally and invested directly in more than 80 of them. Many startups that have been incubated by VSV since the early days have successfully fundraised multiple times, valuing at tens to hundreds of millions dollars, such as Loship, Base.vn, etc.
