With his background of over 25 years in Technology Development, Project Management and Consulting internationally, Gibs not only plays an important role as an active advisor, but also in pulling international resources and partnerships to our portfolio companies.

Before coming to Vietnam, he was an angel investor and venture partner in Silicon Valley. Many of his investments were acquired by Korean conglomerates. Since joining VSV Capital in 2018, Gibs has been focusing on creating synergy between Vietnamese and Korean startups, as well as other stakeholders.

Previously, he held key positions at major corporations, such as Director of US Operations for Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Director of R&D Center at Samsung Electronics Corporate, and executive advisor to Cheil Industries (Samsung Group) and Palo Alto Research Center (Xerox Corporation). Gibs graduated from the University of Ottawa, Canada and is a registered Professional Engineer in Korea and Canada.
